As a beginning designer, I want to learn from my predecessors. Instead of diving into books, I decided this time to recreate a chair by a successful designer. For this chair, I based my design on the F88 by Maarten Van Severen. It is a simple and comfortable design, with an interesting construction method and choice of materials.
The chair you see is made from: a steel frame, curved plywood coloured with coffee, and a seat made from cold foam and vintage fabric.
